The blog is on hiatus until the Internet and some sense of normalcy return to my life.

Right after we brought it home from Joann's backyard we set it on sawhorses in the backyard at Cherry street and got the garden hose ready.
Ryan did all the scrubbing. I had a humane society board meeting that night and supervised in my high heels while documenting the canoe bath with a camera (tehehe).
Half cleaned canoe! Just starting to see it's potential. We have grand plans for this boat...repair some of the fiberglass damage on the bottom and give it an awesome paint job. The exact design is yet to be completely determined as we seem to have artistic differences but when we decide it will look like a mean green water machine! :)
Washing out the spider nests. YUCK!
The canoe looks awesome in Moose Creek!
Ryan picked up Corey and Jeffery from across the reservoir. They parked on the opposite side and radio-ed us while we were paddling on the far side of the water. We paddled back, dropped George, Brittany, and I off at our dock and Ryan paddled across to grab the visitors.
Corey gets to paddle! She had a big smile on her face.
Ahhhh my new favorite seat.
George on the orange kayak.
The campers paddling and fishing in the new canoe.
Time to go. It was sad leaving the beautiful spot but we'll be back soon to launch the canoe over and over again.Posted by Amanda S at 8:38 PM 1 comments

Cupid also likes attacking the paper and tearing it into pieces. He gets really excited when I rustle the paper around and play with him. His excitement manifests itself in viciously attacking the paper like a lion kitty.Posted by Amanda S at 7:46 PM 0 comments
